Brokers, adjusters, underwriters and/or insurance professional ON Ryerson University (Continuing Education)   Completion of AIIC or CIP courses/designation.  This course fulfills the management major of the IIC Fellowship Program.  In-class in Toronto, ON. Brokers, adjusters, underwriters and/or insurance professional ON Mohawk College Management Studies-Insurance diploma Grade 12 English and Math Enables students to complete the CIP credits on an accelerated basis.  In-class in Hamilton, ON. Course start dates in January and September. Fast-track available only in January start date.

Brokers, adjusters, underwriters and/or insurance professional BC Vancouver Career College Insurance Services Specialist Program certificate High school diploma; or mature student + admissions test. Prepares students for exams and for General Insurance Sales Person Level 1 license.  In-class in Vancouver, BC. 
Brokers, adjusters, underwriters and/or insurance professional AB Bow Valley College Credit towards license.  18 years of age or older + required prerequisites.  The course prepares students for Level 1 General Insurance License Exam and/or the Alberta Insurance Council Level 2 General Insurance Agent Personal Lines license exam.  In-class in Calgary, AB.

Insurance professional and/or risk manager AB Grant MacEwan College Insurance and Risk Management Diploma Post secondary credit. Helps students qualify for professional designation through IIC. In-class only in Edmonton, AB. Twelve-month course that begins in September.
Insurance professionals  NS Nova Scotia Community College Business Administration - Investment Management Concentration Completion of Grade 11 and an expressed set of future goals in the industry.  You will receive course recognition by the IIC and have the opportunity to qualify for certifications through the Canadian Securities Institute of Canada.  In-class in Halifax, NS. Course starts in September. 
Insurance professionals  ON Academy of Learning (Business College) Insurance program diploma OSSD or equivalency; or mature student status + admissions interview. It prepares students for the provincial licensing exam; familiarizes students with commonly used insurance databases and quoting software in Canada. In-class in Hamilton, Toronto, Newmarket and Richmond Hill, ON. Continuous start date. 
Risk managers   Simon Fraser University Certificate of Risk Management or Master's of Financial Risk Management (MFRM) Grade 12 or equivalent; or mature student with five years appropriate work experience; or bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline + working experience in the financial sector + GMAT score 550 + three letters of reference.  Gain foundational knowledge required of a risk manager. Also, MFRM graduates have a solid grounding in the fundamentals of finance, asset pricing, credit, market, and operational and enterprise-wide strategic risk management. May concurrently apply for IIP designation.  In-class only in Vancouver and Victoria, BC, as well as other locations. Evening classes available. Course starts in April. 
Risk managers MB University of Winnipeg CRM Designation   This comprises the risk management major of the Fellow Chartered  Insurance Professional (FCIP/FIIC). In-class in Winnipeg, MB. Online available through continuing education division. 
Risk managers NS Dalhousie University CRM diploma Program is available to students with the  LOMA designation. The completion of the CRM program may provide three Advanced Standing credits in the FCIP. In-class or on-line in Halifax, NS.
Risk managers BC University of Northern British Columbia CRM certificate   Helps students attain the CRM designation.  In-class at Prince George, BC. Online available.
Risk managers ON York University Emergency Management Certificate Current York University student; or mature student; or OSSD or equivalent.  Students will gain an understanding of the Emergency Response Cycle including hazard identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation and mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.  In-class in Toronto, ON. Risk managers ON Carleton University - Sprott School of Business Risk Management certificate None.  Helps prepare students for RIMS certification.
