Bulletin: IBC Rebrands With the Maple Leaf

February 2, 2010

A stylized maple leaf is the new symbol of Canada’s insurance industry association. The Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) has rebranded its logo, replacing its blue symbol with a dark red maple leaf containing three rays representing home, auto and commercial insurers. The logo reflects the association’s relationships with government, stakeholders and consumers, according to a February 1 statement. “We're confident that this strong new brand will resonate with Canadians and will stand as a symbol of our commitment to our members and the consumers they serve," says Don Forgeron, the IBC’s president and CEO.
